Hi, I’m Elena.

I’m a photographer, streamer and content creator based in Berlin.

I grew up in Russia, living in several different places along the way, and have been living in Berlin for several years now. Perhaps that is one of the reasons I’ve always been curious about people, places and the small details that make them different.

My love for photography started when I was young, when I dreamed of photographing famous musicians. Later, I photographed festivals, public events and cultural happenings in Yaroslavl, documenting the city’s cultural life.

But what I enjoyed most was photographing people.

Some of the people I photographed told me they usually felt uncomfortable in front of a camera or thought they weren’t photogenic. Then they saw their photos and were surprised by how much they liked themselves.

I think I simply see something on the other side of the camera.

That is what I try to capture in my portraits: real people, natural expressions and genuine emotions. A smile, a serious face, a thoughtful moment, even sadness, or simply a quiet, almost expressionless look. Not every photograph needs to be perfect or posed. Sometimes the most interesting part is simply letting someone be themselves.

For me, photography is not just taking pictures. It is a creative process. I put something of myself into every frame and every edit, trying to show a person, a place or a moment from a slightly different perspective.

Photography is only one part of my creative world. For more than three years, I’ve also been creating content and streaming on Twitch and Kick under the name Elena Witch.

Come for the coffee, stay for the stories.

Cooking is at the heart of my streams, alongside coffee and matcha, conversations, Berlin adventures and games like The Sims 4 and Anno 1800. The kitchen is where we come together, share stories, talk about life and occasionally try to figure out what went wrong with dinner. Witchcraft may or may not be involved.

I like to think that both photography and streaming are connected by the same idea: seeing the world in another dimension.
