The Geometry of Morning
One summer morning in the Russian countryside, I woke up around four in the morning and discovered a landscape transformed by fog. I grabbed my camera and headed into the fields to photograph the sunrise. As the first golden rays of sunlight filtered through the mist, the familiar countryside began to feel strangely unreal. Wild grasses emerged from the haze, delicate spiderwebs stretched between the plants in almost impossibly perfect patterns, and the rising sun bathed everything in a soft, otherworldly glow. For a brief moment, the landscape felt like a place somewhere between reality and imagination, almost alien in its quiet beauty. This photography project captures that fleeting moment of wonder, when an ordinary summer morning revealed a world that seemed to belong to another dimension.
